Girls Drawin Girls Present a Hoity Toity Art Show!

Saturday, February 12, 2011

Girls Drawin' Girls presents "A Hoity Toity Art Show,” an art show celebrating highfalutin' low brow art and putting a sexy spin on those stuffy (and boring) art shows of yore!

Join us for an evening of art, burlesque, live music and fun as we take those high brow intellectual parties of the 1920's and drag them to the speakeasy to get them drunk on bathtub gin. Top hats, monocles, and boobs! What more could you ask for?

The evening will feature all new, original pin-up artwork on display and for sale, burlesque performances by the ladies of Victory Variety Hour, live music by Ghosts of Echo Park, and tunes by DJ Poptart. Refreshments will be provided.

A $5 donation is requested at the door to help go towards the evenings' performers.

Artwork on display and for sale will feature original pin-up interpretations of what our members think of as “Hoity Toity Art.” Come and enjoy some amazing art from some of the most talented ladies working in the entertainment industry today! We will also be premiering artwork from our newest members for 2011.

The event will also host Girls Drawin Girls’ merchandise table, which will be selling the last remaining copies of our 2011 Art Calendar, our three past volumes of pin-up books, art prints and other pin-up themed merchandise.
