Without lying i don't remember to have drawing one mermaid in my life, even at school, the reason? Hum probably because i thought Princesses or Wonderwoman were stronger and cooler and maybe also because I'm quite scared of water... One of my friend gave me a wonderful book about "French Cocotte" those gorgeous lady with mermaid shape because of their corset and i thought of doing a kind of mix of both.
