Pencil Sketch

A little lady sketched in pencil :)

Dolly in the Dark

I put a few hours into this here and there to keep me from losing my mind during finals week. It's colored pencil and pastel on black sketchbook paper and touched up in photoshop. I hope to do more with this method, it's fun ^^.

iPod Gal: Colored Sketch

I had my little sketchbook with me at Siggraph, and I drew this little lady in it while waiting for an appointment. I brought it home and colored it in Photoshop.

Sketchbook Girlies

Completely unrelated to this week's (awesome) drawing challenge, but here are some girls I drew in my sketchbook over the weekend.

Here are some of my sketches from that cold night. ;)

Batty in Winter

Yesterday I saw this older woman at the bakery where I get coffee. She came in wild-eyed from the cold, with her hair tousled from the wind. I immediately sensed her batty, junior high art teacher kind of energy. I’m guessing she was 4′8” in height, and I would not have been at all shocked if she’d spoken with a British accent.
