for the "Girls of the World" theme a few weeks back. she's from the Philippines, wearing a modern version of the Maria Clara dress that i found online.

mabuhay!

since this week's theme is "tropical paradise," i decided to give my home land of the Philippines a little nod with my submission. "mabuhay" literally means "long live" and is used kinda like "cheers!" or "viva!" it's like a greeting of hospitality or like a toast. if u ever watch any type of Miss Universe pageant, u'll usually hear Miss Philippines say it.
anyways, i'm glad the theme was carried thru another week because i sure needed the extra time. =)
