My Not-So-Secret Project

Last year on May 14th, my 29th birthday, I decided I was going to start a sketch blog dedicated to the memories of my fleeting 20's. Aptly named 'Goodbye, my 20's', it started off as more of a true sketch blog.: a little messy and a very disorganized.  

By keeping my digital lines very loose and playing with texture, I started to develop the style you're looking at in the images I've included in this post - which is different from my usual black line style you'll see in my blog header (and in previous posts for GDG):

I wanted to share the blog with the ladies of Girls Drawing Girls and the readers of this blog for a few reasons. Aside from opening myself up about my life through stories,  I also feel like I've honed in on a flat, textured style I really enjoy.

What are your thoughts on having a portfolio of multiple art styles? Should they be shown separately or together? And also, what are some ways that other artists out there have honed in on their own personal style?
